Dr. Reese, Dr. Milrud, and Dr. Baima bring a wealth of experience and passion to Winning Smile Dental Group. They believe that excellent dental care is built not only on exceptional clinical skills, which they possess but also on forming trusting relationships with each patient. That’s why they take the time to get to know everyone who visits and personalize their approach to each smile. They can’t wait to change the way you feel about dentistry!
Polly Reese, DDS
Dr. Reese, inspired by her family’s healthcare background and her own athletic prowess, initially dreamed of becoming a pilot before realizing her true calling in dentistry. Encouraged by her father, who recognized her exceptional hand-eye coordination, Dr. Reese found her passion for making positive and lasting changes in people’s lives through dentistry.
She began her academic journey at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL, where she earned a BA degree in 1982. Dr. Reese then pursued further studies at the University of Illinois, Chicago, obtaining a BS degree in 1983 and her DDS degree in 1986. Her commitment to continuous learning led her to complete an MBA from the Northwestern Kellogg Executive Program in 2002.
Throughout her career, Dr. Reese has been dedicated to advancing her education and skills and completed continuing education through The Huggins/Grube Protocol, focusing on biologic and holistic dentistry. Dr. Reese further honed her expertise at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies and the Los Angeles Institute for Esthetic Dentistry, where she mastered various aspects of functional aesthetic dentistry and occlusal disease management. She is also a CEREC Doctors Mentor and an active member of the Spear Education Study Group, participating in advanced courses on treating worn dentition, demistyfying occlusion, facially generated treatment planning, restorative design, CEREC 1, 2 and 3 training and esthetic techniques.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Reese’s passion is caring for animals. She and her partner have three rescue dogs, and they are her third and fourth pair of rescues. While she never intended to have four dogs at once, she and her partner quickly became foster failures.
Dr. Reese maintains an active lifestyle, having completed three Ironman Triathlons, including the renowned Hawaii Ironman. While she no longer competes in triathlons, she continues to swim, run, and bike for health and enjoyment. An avid golfer and hiking enthusiast, Dr. Reese loves to spend her vacations communing with nature and practicing photography.

Estelle Milrud, DDS
Dr. Estelle Milrud was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is a passionate and experienced Clinical Dentist with a strong commitment to patient oral health. With expertise in restorative dental treatments, oral diagnosis, endodontics, prosthodontics, and cosmetic procedures, she provides high-quality dental care.
Dr. Milrud is proficient in utilizing advanced dental technologies, including Sirona and E4D CAD/CAM, Sirona SIROLasers, digital radiology, and intra-oral photography. She is Invisalign certified and has completed training in OSHA, ADA, and HIPAA compliance. Fluent in English and Russian, and conversant in Spanish, she excels in effective multilingual communication. Dr. Milrud is dedicated to delivering excellent dental care and advising on preventative oral hygiene for optimal patient outcomes.
Dr. Estelle Milrud pursued her dental education at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Downers Grove, Illinois. During her time as a dental student, she demonstrated exceptional dedication and commitment to her studies and clinical training.
She gained expertise in designing and fitting oral appliances such as occlusal guards, as well as prosthodontic appliances like complete dentures and fixed bridges. Throughout her education, Dr. Milrud consistently displayed a strong focus on patient care, emphasizing the importance of proper oral hygiene and plaque control procedures while fostering an environment of trust, honesty, and integrity.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Estelle Milrud enjoys indulging in her passions and spending quality time with her loved ones. When she has spare time, you can often find her in the kitchen, honing her culinary skills and creating delicious meals and baked goods. Cooking and baking serve as creative outlets for her, allowing her to unwind and express her creativity. Additionally, Dr. Milrud loves exploring the vibrant city of Chicago, embarking on adventures with her husband and new baby.
Whether it’s discovering new restaurants, visiting local attractions, or simply strolling through the city’s picturesque neighborhoods, she finds joy in immersing herself in the cultural richness and charm that Chicago has to offer. These moments outside of dentistry allow Dr. Milrud to relax, recharge, and create lasting memories with her family.
